Privacy Policy
Effective September 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on ForMyFinalExpense.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This website is run by Legacy Live Media, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We are a marketing company. We are not an insurance company, and we do not issue policies or pay claims. We connect people who ask for information with licensed insurance agents.
Information we collect
When you fill out our form, we collect:
- Your first and last name
- Your phone number
- Your state
- Your age range
- A record of your consent to be contacted, including the consent wording you agreed to and the date and time
When you use the website or send a form, we also collect:
- Your IP address (a number that identifies your internet connection)
- Information about your browser and device, such as the browser type
- Security-check data from Cloudflare Turnstile, a tool that helps us tell real people from automated programs (bots)
If you send a privacy request, we collect the name, email address, phone number, and state you give us, and whether your browser sent a Global Privacy Control signal.
We do not use advertising pixels or analytics cookies on this website, and we do not send newsletters.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Connect you with licensed insurance agents who can answer your questions about coverage
- Respond to your requests, including privacy requests
- Keep records of your consent to be contacted
- Prevent fraud, spam, and misuse of the website
- Follow the law and respond to legal requests
How we share your information
We share your information with:
- Licensed insurance agents, agencies, and insurance companies. They may contact you by phone or text about insurance, as described in the consent you gave.
- Service providers who help us run the website. These include companies that provide website hosting, email delivery, call-center software used by licensed agents, and security checks. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- Others when the law requires it. We may share information to follow the law, respond to a court order or legal request, or protect our rights and the safety of others.
Notice about "sale" or "sharing" of information
Giving your contact information to insurance agencies and partners may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state privacy laws. You can tell us to stop at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the state you live in, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we have about you
- Delete your personal information
- Correct information that is wrong
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, and of targeted advertising (we do not use your information for targeted advertising)
- Appeal if we turn down your request
- Be treated fairly. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
How to use your rights
You can make a request in either of these ways:
- Fill out our online privacy request form
- Call us toll-free at 1-888-612-1253
To correct your information, call us toll-free at 1-888-612-1253.
To protect you, we will need to confirm your identity before we give out or delete information. We may ask you to confirm details you gave us, such as your name and phone number.
Someone else, such as a family member, can make a request for you as your authorized agent. We will ask for written permission signed by you, and we may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.
We will respond to requests to know, access, delete, or correct information within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this once by another 45 days and will tell you why. We will honor requests to opt out of sale or sharing within 15 business days.
If we deny your request, you can appeal by contacting us the same way and asking us to review the decision.
Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a setting in some web browsers that tells websites you do not want your information sold or shared. When your browser sends a GPC signal with a form you submit on this website, we record it and treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of the information you submitted. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no other browser tracking to turn off. You can also opt out at any time using our privacy request form or by calling us.
Calls and texts
You can take back your permission to be called or texted at any time. You can:
- Tell the agent on the phone that you do not want more calls
- Reply STOP to any text message
- Call us toll-free at 1-888-612-1253
- Use our privacy request form
We will honor your request within 10 business days.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. We keep records of your consent to be contacted, and of any request to stop contact, for as long as needed to show that we followed the law. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it so it can no longer identify you.
How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, such as encrypted connections and limiting who can see it. No website or computer system is completely secure, so we cannot promise perfect security.
Children
This website is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
